Welcome to Northern Michigan District Our vision for our district is to be an "Alive" district: A ccepting L oving I  nteresting V ibrant E xciting

 With the Church of the Nazarene celebrating their 100^th birthday October 2008, the Northern Michigan District has set our attendance goal to have 4008 by 2008 and to plant 8 new churches by 2008. By depending on the Lord and holding to our purpose listed below, we will see our vision come into focus:

• To obey the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40, NIV): "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.... Love your neighbor as yourself."
  
  
• To fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20, NIV): "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
